FALCONS 4 - SABRES 27
Rivalry week continued between the Facey Falcons and Salisbury Sabres as the Senior teams took the field on Friday night. Looking to snap a 7 - game losing skid against the Sabres, the Falcons came out with confidence in front of a packed crowd at the Emerald Hills field.
However, it was the Sabres who quickly wrestled control of the game away from the Falcons. The solid defense managed to keep the Falcons in the game, but multiple penalties stopped the Falcons from gaining enough momentum to mount a comeback. Two touchdowns in the fourth sealed the game for the Sabres, who now sit tied with Facey for second place in the Carr Division at 4-2.
The Falcons head to Johnny Bright Sports Park to face a struggling Ross Shepard squad in their regular season finale.
